Kindergarten process procedures.

When enrolling the center for early childhood education,
it is required to have the education certification granted by the municipal.

Type 1
certification
Standard Time Education Certification
When a child is 3 years old or older and parents/guardians wish to provide the child with education at a kindergarten etc.
Service options: Kindergarten and center for early childhood education and care.
Type 2
certification
3 years old or older/ Childcare Certification
When a child is 3 years old or older and one of the “reasons for need of childcare” (refer to page 13) applies, and parents/ guardians wish to receive for their child at a nursery center etc.
Service options: Nursery center and center for early childhood education and care.
Type 3
certification
Under 3 years old/ Childcare Certification
When a child is under 3 years old and one of the “reasons for need of childcare”(refer to page 13) applies, and parents/ guardians wish to receive childcare for their child care at a nursery center etc.
Service options: Nursery center, center for early childhood education and care, municipal-level childcare service

When you wish to use a kindergarten etc.

  1. 1Directly make an application to a kindergarten etc. (The municipal government will support users as necessary)
  2. 2Receive an informal entry offer from the kindergarten, etc. (When the number of applicants exceeds capacity,
    applicants may have to go through a selection process such as an interview.)
  3. 3Make an application for certification to use the facility through the kindergarten etc.
  4. 4Certification is issued by the municipal government through the kindergarten etc. (Type 1 Certification)
  5. 5Exchange a contract with the kindergarten etc.

When you wish to use a nursery center etc.

  1. 1Make an application to your municipal government for a certification of “need of childcare.” * You can simultaneously make an entry application for the nursery center, etc. (i.e. Step 3)
  2. 2Certification is issued by the municipal government. (Type 2 Certification/ Type 3 Certification)
  3. 3Make an application to use a nursery center etc. (Specify the name of the facility you wish to use.)
  4. 4The municipal government selects who are available for the service based on requests from the applicant, situations of nursery centers, etc. * If the child needs day care (Type2 or Type 3 Certification), the municipal government finds and recommends available nursery centers, etc. for the applicant if necessary.
  5. 5After the facility is decided, a contract is exchanged.

- Swimming lesson fee: ¥3800 per month
- Material fee (5 year-olds only): ¥600 per month
2-year-olds Only:
- Swimming lesson fee (October to March): ¥1600 per month
- Snack fee: ¥600 per month
User pays:
- Bus fee: ¥2800/monthly
- Extended Childcare fee: ¥200/hour (It might be free under some circumstances.)

Type 3 Certification Childcare Fees

Childcare fees under the new governments within a range governments.
Childcare fees are set for each income bracket. (Income bracket criteria etc. are different depending on municipalities.)
Users pay
System will be determined by municipal. (i.e. upper limits) set by the central.

Type 3 Certification: Reduction of childcare fees for households with multiple children

When two or more siblings use the kindergarten, the nursery center, the center for early childhood education and care, etc., childcare fees for the second child are halves, and childcare fees for the third and following children are free.

School Meals

This is our own school lunch program. We focus on a wide variety of items, seasonal ingredients, and menu items that match events.
Our dietitian prepares menus and manages nutrition.
Allergies are accommodated as much as possible.
*Depending on your child's condition, we may ask you to bring your own lunch. Please consult with us in advance.
